Engine
1 use 10 gallons (37.9 litres) of Shell Rotella 15
W 40 oil in my engine and changed my oil every 12,000 miles (19,320 kms) before
Roil. I had NOT used any other oil additive. 1 added 1 gallon (3.8 litres) of
Roil and 9 gallons (34.1 litres) oil.
Transmission & Rear Ends
In the transmission I use Shell Synthetic 50W
oil. When I changed the transmission oil I added 6 X 12 oz. (6x360mls) bottles of
ROIL Manual Transmission Additive. The two rear ends use a Synthetic Shell 70 W 90
oil and each rear end took 4 X 12 oz.(4 x360mls) bottles of ROIL Manual Transmission
Additive. This is changed every 250,000 miles (402,000 klms). (Very cost
affective!) This addition lowers the temperature in the transmission and rear ends up
to as much as 30% and dramatically reduces the vibration and noise level.
Front Wheel Bearings
The front wheel bearings use a 90 W Synthetic Shell
oil and they take 2 oz. (60 mls) each of the Roil Engine Additive.
Engine Ran Quieter & Less Vibrations
I noticed within the first 60 miles (97 kms) of
adding the Roil products that the engine ran much quieter and the vibration was
considerably less. This adds up to increased power, more miles per gallon (klms per
litre) and less down time due to repairs.
Fuel Saving $US7,350 per year = 24.6% Improvement
I have now put over 250,000
miles (402,500 klms) on this truck using Roil products and my average miles per gallon -
mpg (kms per litre - kpl) are steady at 7.1 mpg (3.0 kpl). This is a 1.4 mpg
(0.6kpl) or 24.6% increase! I drive over 11,000 miles (17,710 kms) a month.
With fuel at $US1.59 per gallon my savings after the cost of roil is $US614 per month or
$US7,350 per year!!! I am able to go 20,000 to 25,000 miles (32,200 to 40,250 kms)
between oil changes without any engine wear. The savings in oil changes pays for a
year's worth of ROIL products.
So if less money spent in repair bills; a quieter, smoother ride; better fuel economy
resulting in as much as savings of $US600 per month is of interest to you then don't delay
in putting ROIL in your truck.
